Eligibility:

Buyback is available starting 30 days after purchase. Customers can exchange jewelry for another piece within the first 30 days. Refunds are not provided within this period. Buybacks are applicable only after the 7-day return window has expired and do not apply concurrently with returns.

Gold Jewelry

  • Buyback Value: Up to 96% of the prevailing gold rate at the time of buyback, depending on market conditions and jewelry condition.
  • Diamond Jewellery

  • Melee Diamonds (<0.2 Ct. each):80% of the purchase value.
  • Solitaires (>0.2 Ct. each):70%-75% of the purchase value based on size and market demand. Additional testing may be required for uncertified diamonds.
  • Uncut Diamond

  • Buyback Value:Up to 75% of the purchase price, contingent on market conditions and the diamonds' condition.
  • Colored Stones (Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire, etc.):

  • Buyback Value:70%-80% of the current market value, determined by gemstone quality and market demand.
  • General Jewelry (Without Specific Details):

  • Buyback Value:80% of the overall purchase price, excluding making charges. The final value may vary depending on the jewelry’s condition and market factors.
  • General Conditions:

  • Invoice Conditions:
    The original purchase invoice is required for all buyback transactions.
  • Condition of Jewellery:
    Jewelry must be in its original condition. Any repairs or modifications made after purchase may affect the buyback value.
  • Payment Method:
    Buyback value can be returned as a store credit, direct cash, or bank transfer based on GMJ’s discretion.
  • Jewelry from Other Sellers:
    GMJ may offer buyback for jewelry purchased elsewhere but at a lower rate decided at the time of purchase.
  • Express Gold Exchange:

    Customers can opt for an express gold exchange, where GMJ will melt gold on-site. The value will be adjusted against new purchases or offered as cash. There is typically a 0.5% - 1% weight loss on melting, and the weight of gold after melting will be used to calculate the gold liquidation value. GMJ’s assessment is final. Gemstones removed from the jewelry can be retained by the customer or valued for liquidation based on an agreed assessment, but they may not be eligible for the same exchange or buyback terms as the gold.
